After a quick briefing and with life jackets securely fastened, we launched our kayaks effortlessly. Within minutes, everyone found their rhythm, and soon laughter filled the air as we tried to paddle in sync.

Those first wobbly moments quickly turned into smooth teamwork as we paddled further out, completely forgetting about the waves.

Meeting Dolphins and Sea Turtles

Just off the Palm-Mar coast, we spotted several dolphin families swimming nearby — sometimes just a few metres from our kayaks! Their playful movements and friendly curiosity made the experience feel magical.

Then came the real highlight: snorkeling among the giant sea turtles, some nearly a metre long. Floating calmly beside these magnificent creatures, we could admire the vibrant underwater world of Tenerife.

It’s important to note that these animals are strictly protected — touching or disturbing them is forbidden. As our guide reminded us, the ocean is not a petting zoo, but a home we’re lucky to visit.
