First and foremost, don’t worry and embrace it as part of the adventure! Before you set off, always save the address of your accommodation – your “home” for the end of the day. If you get lost, try navigating to the next point on your itinerary or heading back home.
If your battery dies, you can easily find your way even from the most secluded spots, as signs for Tenerife Sur, Los Cristianos, or Adeje are clearly marked. Even if you’re just looking for the way home heading west, you’ll eventually stumble upon a well-signposted main road.
For potential signal issues, it’s a good idea to download the Tenerife offline map in the Google Maps app.
Your Travel Kit includes restaurant recommendations at certain stops, complete with Google ratings. Additionally, you’ll find local restaurants or cafes almost everywhere, giving you the perfect opportunity to try Canarian specialties. Of course, options will be more limited in areas like forests or on Teide.

However, if you’re using the Teide Kit during the winter months, make sure to bring a warm jacket, sweater, and closed shoes. Due to Tenerife’s many microclimates, we always recommend keeping a sweater in the car — just in case!
